The center seeks to fill postdoctoral positions in 2021.

Postdoctoral positions at the HCTPA

The Haifa research Center for Theoretical Physics and Astrophysics (HCTPA) invites applications for the HCTPA postdoctoral fellowship program and the Zuckerman Fellowship program, in all areas of physics including but not limited to astrophysics (theory and observations), high-energy physics (theory and phenomenology), and condensed-matter and AMO physics (theory). The successful candidates will receive a generous scholarship, relocation expenses, research funds, and a travel budget that are commensurate with qualifications.

The HCTPA currently hosts 14 researchers from various areas of physics including astronomy and astrophysics, quantum sciences, high-energy physics, and the physics of complex systems. The center has access to state-of-the-art high-performance (~2000 cores) computer cluster, and will have in its possession (starting in the fall of 2021) a ~1m fully robotic telescope, which would be dedicated to multiband photometric and photo-polarimetic survey of the sky.

For more information please see: http://hctpa.haifa.ac.il. Particular guidelines for the Zuckerman Fellowship program may be found here:  https://zuckerman-scholars.org/ourprograms/postdoc-program/ .
