Francisco graduated from the Ruhr-Universtät Bochum in 2015. He is a research astronomer with a keen interest in variable astronomical phenomena, among which variable stars and active galactic nuclei. Francisco has extensive observing experience in the optical and infrared wavebands using both ground and space observatories. Working with Doron Chelouche, he is in charge of the photometric reverberation mapping campaign, which is being carried out at the Wise Observatory, and probes the innermost regions around active supermassive black holes.
